Biolink's Diatom is Diatomaceous Earth which
is a fine white powder made from the ground up fossilized remains
of diatoms (which is a type of algae).
The fine powder is 100% natural and works by breaking down the
waxy outer layer of mites' exoskeletons, causing them to dehydrate
and die. It can be applied directly to your bird and inside your
coop.
Many people also add a little as a general supplement with their
hens feed to control internal parasites too.
Recommended Dose and Usage:
Suitable for poultry, cats, dogs and horses. Great for controlling
red mite, fleas, lice, and even bed bugs! Used internally to control
worms.
