Can I move the Sussex Chicken Coop easily?

 

At almost 50kgs and over 2 meters long you are going to need 2 people to move the Sussex Coop.

If you have a run attached to your Sussex then it would be difficult to move the Sussex coop with it all attached however two people can certainly move the coop on its own and similarly the double run on its own.

If you have a Sussex with Run or Sussex with Double Run and want to move your coop then the answer would be to remove the 4 L-brackets that are used to attach the run section to the main coop to dis-connect the runs from the coop and then moving should not be a problem for two persons.

Just an aside - you wouldn't want to be doing this regularly as the continual screwing/unscrewing into the wood is eventually going to weaken that connection point although it would be possible to just re-locate the position of the brackets themselves.
