For me the customer service and quality of product were the most impressive points. Slight problem with delivery but Mike responded immediatley and then followed it up to ensure that all was well.I constructed the coop 10 days ago and, although the plans are basic, it was easy to do and took approximately 50 mins.Impressive wood quality and finish. The following day I collected 3 rescued battery hens who were impressed enough to give us our first egg this morning - result! I would happily recommend this product and the Company to anyone.

Last week I went about looking for chicken coops online as a bithday present for my other half. He's wanted chickens his whole life, but his parents believed they were too much hassle, and being a South African farm girl myself I knew that they were actually fun and easy to keep. So I went about making this a reality for him, and did so with the amazing help of ChickenCoopsDirect!

Being a ditzy blonde as it were I started looking for this huge item a week before his birthday, and started panicing not only about the price but the delivery! ChickenCoopsDirect was FANTASTIC in absolutely every aspect and genuinely saved the entire occasion! The delivery time was extraordinarily fast, and not only were they efficient, but SO friendly! The man who delivered them took them all the way into the yard for us and was so social and talkative! A real pleasure! The officies also ensured that I recieved a call as my coop was nearing my house so that I could plan my day around it's delivery! Genuinely top notch service and such accomodating staff.

The coop itself was WONDERFULLY laid out and very easy to assemble and was up and running within 45 minutes of unpacking it. Since then our wonderful two ladies have arrived (literally the next day!) and absolutely LOVE their new home. On the first night they perched quite happily and since then have started utilizing the nesting areas. The sturdyness and security of the coop have both already been tested, as we have had two nights of consecutive storms with gale force winds down here at the coast of Bournemouth. Similarly the neighbouring cats have already shown an interest in our new arrivals and have been spotted perched ontop of and prowling around our Dorset coop, quite aggravated that our wonderful housing system has thwarted their meal ideas. The chickens have not been stressed or scared by their appearance and so we believe that they have as much confidence in the coop as we do! Thanks again to ChickenCoopsDirect! Well what can i say, the service was excellent got emails updating me.the delivery man was so helpfull put the boxes where i ask him to. the dorset coop was so easy to put together 40 mins max, it is made of good quality wood and everything fits so well,it looks great in my garden fit for my little girls. i would recommend this company highly.thank you

I am absolutely delighted with the Dorset coop. The delivery was handled very efficiently, and it arrived on the day promised. Although the hens aren't in it yet, it is built and sited. My DH said it went together very easily, and the only alteration was adding a handle to the run door, to make it easier for me to pull open. Top marks for this product!

We choose the coup because it was a run and coup combined with the coup raised off the ground. the coup has nest boxes and a perch as well as an easy cleaning tray so lots of features. The run is spacious run with easy access to both coup and run. The unit is a bit bigger than I was expecting but that's not a problem. Very efficient and reliable delivery service (in spite of earlier slight glitch over delivery charges to Scotland) and coup was very easy to put together. All in all -we're very pleased as our the chickens!

The coop went together really easily and the 2 inhabitants are very happy. They take themselves up to the perch every evening and we dont hear from them till the morning.We are very happy with the product and the service and with our chickens.

I would like to say that we have now put together the coop and it does seem very well constructed and we are very happy with this produce. We have now got 2 Warren chickens and they seem to have settled in their new home. As i only have a certain amount of space in my garden i wanted a secure but reasonable priced chicken house to go with the design of my garden. it is now put together and has that professional look about it and now ive got enough space in the coop to add 4 more chickens. I will b using you again in the future and will be telling my friends and family about the excellent product you sell.

The coop was a doddle to put together and I would certainly recommend your company to anyone who is interested in starting the way I am. To date we still do not have the 'ladies' installed because we are finding it difficult to find any at point of lay in the area. I had been looking at a number of web sites prior to purchasing and whilst several offered a similar coop, your site was more explicit and more helpful regarding details, dimensions, graphics etc. The coop itself appeared ideal for us as beginners being able to house 3/4 birds in an area where we could let the birds roam free during the day. We have 3 birds and although only 4 days in all seems well. The coop went together really well and is well finished and certainly seems to do the job. As you will be aware the courier cancelled at pretty much the last minute due to their own problems but you were quickly on the case and ensured next day delivery. We’re more than happy with our Dorset chicken coop. The design of the coop is very well thought out and solidly constructed, the nest box is easy to access and we are now looking forward to the day when our 3 beautiful Buff Orpington hens start laying. Your site easy to use and this made the ordering process very easy, and the coop arrived 2 days after the order was placed which i think is an excellent service

The girls 'Margaret and Elaine' are settling in nicely thank you. The Dorset was fairly easy to put together. The inside perches and nesting boxes are good and access to the boxes is good also. Well finished, and bloody impressive for the money, I also liked the fact that the screws are in separate well marked packets...so no rumaging and sorting before I started with the screwdriver.. All in all...9 out of 10...which is pretty damned good.

Just to let you know the coop arrived safe and sound and is already up in the garden it went together well and looks great, just needs the chickens!!!! Thanks again for everything.
