And If you have ever kept chickens before, then you'll know that mite infestations can at times be a real pain. But the problem is a lot less likely with the Eco Loft and much easier to deal with. A stong jet of water sprayed into the problem area, let it dry and then a dusting of mite powder and you are done.

The fact that the Eco Chicken Loft is made from a heavy duty recycled plastic means that it's practically 100% rot proof and will outlast a wooden chicken coop by years.

Both sizes of the Eco Chicken Loft are supplied with removeable perches and two easily accessable nesting boxes on either side of the ark so there is plenty of space for your hens to lay.

It can be moved about the garden by two people and can even be easily dismantled and rebuilt. This offers a significant advantage over more traditional wooden coops in that the whole thing can be reduced to an array of flat panels in a matter of minutes, ready for thorough jetwash cleaning and disinfection as needed.

Access to the interior of the Eco Ark for inspection, feeding, watering, cleaning and that all-important egg collection is achieved quickly and easily via a wide rear door which is secured using quick release pins. Access can also be gained via the roof which can be removed in seconds as well as via the two side nesting boxes.

Permanent draught-free ventilation is provided from under the eaves, and there is also an additional fully adjustable circular vent in the front.

Very clear instructions are included. All you will need is a sharp knife (e.g. Stanley Knife) or sand paper, a cross head screwdriver and an adjustable spanner.
