The Kent Coop is our most affordable model and
is made from the same durable wood we use in our other popular
chicken houses. With over 6 square feet of internal space
this coop provides you with enough space for 4 to 5 medium
The Kent coop has been designed to be easy to
clean. It comes with a large rear slide out tray, as well
as a removable slatted floor in the nesting box.
Accessing all areas of the coop is also an important
feature we wanted and so have added a lift up roof which is
held in place by handy metal stays - which makes accessing,
as well as cleaning the internal areas of the coop that much
On both sides of the coop are 2 narrow ventilation
windows situated just under the roof overlap. This allows
for adequate ventilation without the worry of the coop becoming
drafty. The housing area is also raised off the ground which
will keep mud and dampness out of the hen house.
The front opening hinged door doubles as a little
ramp for your hens and allows them to enter and exit the housing
area. Inside they will find two large removeable perches on
which to roost at night, as well as a cosy nesting box that
has been divided into two compartments, where they can lay
The superb quality and beautiful design of the
Kent means that it will look fantastic in any garden, and
give your chickens many years of pleasure.
High quality woodwork with strong joints - means that
the hen house won't fall apart if you move it around.
A large opening roof with metal stays
which keep it open - makes it a breeze to access the internal
areas of the coop.
Large removable tray collects your hens waste - and makes
cleaning a much quicker process.
Draft free ventilations slots located
high up on either side of the coop helps prevent the build
up of stale toxic air.
Two fully removeable and correctly designed perches allows
your hens to perch comfortably at night.
"The design was exceptional and
well thought out"
I am writing to say thank you
for your prompt attention to my order for the Kent coop which
arrived safely. We found it well packed and my husband who
assembled it for me said it was extremely easy to put together
and thought the design was exceptional and well thought out.
I also found the two leaflets you sent by e.mail very helpful,
especially the one on the most popular chickens, which helped
me make my choice and the one on health will I am sure stand
me in good stead for the future in keeping my chickens healthy.
Once again thank you. Regards Sue Cockayne
"Prompt and efficient service."
My Kent coop arrived this afternoon
and I would just like to say thank you for your prompt and
efficient service, and it took me just 40 minutes to put it
together. I have bought it for 2 ducks the only hard bit will
be trying to get them to go in it!!
"All I need now are some chickens!!!"
I would just like to say how
impressed I have been with the speed at which my Kent Coop
was dispatched! I ordered it on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday!!
It was beautifully made and my husband put it together in
no time without the usual grumbling that usually ensues having
to put together a "flat pack" item!! I also love
the personal attention to detail in the Emails received before
and after delivery. All I need now are some CHICKENS!!!
"The Kent coop could not have been
easier to put together."
We are absolutely delighted
with all aspects of the service we had from you..The Kent
coop could not have been easier to put together and it was
assembled within forty minutes and that is coming from someone
who could knock a five in nail through a six inch piece of
wood !!!!! Many many thanks
"Thanks for your swift and efficient
I am very happy with the Kent
coop. It was easy to put up but I think at least 2 people
are needed to do it. Construction is fine and it put together
just right. The only thing I could recommend, which would
not be a massive expense for you would be larger pictures
in the instructions esp. for those of us whose sight is beginning
to deteriorate. A friend recommended securing the underside
of the nest boxes against foxes, as they can be pushed up.
I have done this with wire netting, and i hope this will be
enough. Otherwise, all fine, and I am looking forward to receiving
my chickens at the weekend. The instructions re chicken keeping
have been very useful. Thanks for your swift and efficient

Our wooden coops are treated with a base coat of wood preservative. The
wood we use in this product is a highly durable and scented
softwood which is noted for its resistance to decay and rot.
As with all outdoor wooden structures we strongly recommend
that you treat your coop with a high quality varnish or wood
preservative before exposing it to the elements and that you
re-treat it at least once a year (preferably before the winter
season) to maintain the applied preservative and water repellent
properties. We also recommend that you try and position your
chicken coopin a protected area which is not overly exposed
to the elements.

care guidelines and recommended products.
We would like to think that our coops are made to a higher
standard than most other suppliers in this price range. While
we have purposely used thicker, sturdier wood, wire and locks
with the aim to make it as safe and secure as possible for
your chickens we cannot absolutely guarantee that foxes and
other predators won’t try and target them.
Foxes are by far the biggest threat that your pets will
face so if you are going to keep your chickens then we also
urge you to take
these added precautions especially if you know you have
foxes in your area.
