The reason the nesting box floor is loose is mainly for ease of cleanliness, but i guess it could be lifted by a fox, although he&#039;d have a bit of a job (I would imagine) actually getting into the housing area.

If you are concerned, then i would suggest putting a screw or two into the flooring to secure it to to nesting box. I think that way, should he try and nudge the floor upwards, and nothing happen, I doubt he would persist. With regards the hasp, a replacement is on its way to you!
