Very pleased with the coop. very fast delivery. A good quality product, that took me a couple of hours to put together. Although not picked up the chickens yet (due to the bad weather), hopefully will do in the next week. i would definetley recommend this coop and chickecoopsdirect

First off, I was amazed at how quickly it arrived!! Secondly..i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the build (Sussex Coop). It all went together fairly smoothly..and my eight year old daughter was a brilliant help!! She helped to choose the coop and has even measured up for curtains inside the sleeping quarters (..if you please!!!) So all in all you are all round "Good Eggs" for supplying our pukka coop!

We chose this hutch as we were looking for a more enclosed coop which could be moved around our garden. After searching the net for coops we looked at chickencoopdirect, the images on the site showed us how the loked and the quality, by providing plenty of different shots it was easy to decide on a coop.
At the time the coop was out of stock but as we were willing to wait i was able to get a fantastic deal.The coop was easy to construct, having the pictures on the net helped when we did have a small problem.The coop is suitable for most small gardens with a flock of 3-4 birds. The look of this coop is what is important as well as the safety features, to protect the birds at night.I would recommend this coop anyone, the service we received was excellent the company kept us informed throughout process and of the delivery date. Here is my feedback on the Sussex Coop. I purchased two coops one for myself and one for my daughters care home. The one at the care home is not yet set up but I am convinced will bring great joy to the young adults who live there once they get their chickens. I brought mine as a bit of an extravagance. I already have a larger coop but felt that my three bantams were being a little bullied by the 7 regular sized chickens. Therefore I decided to buy another coop and found yours on the web site after doing a google search. It is perfect for my needs and provides a decent sized living space. As with my other coop one of the prime reasons for buying this particular model is that they can get up in the morning and roam about in the 'run' whether I have actually got out of bed and let them out or not!! They then wait for myself or one of the farm hands to open the run and let them out into the grass area where they can spend a happy day scratching around before going back to bed. I was impressed when it was put together by he amount of doors and the easy access to various parts of the coop and after the 1st night everyone seems happy

I am certainly happy to give some feedback on a product that I am very happy with. The coop was dispatched quickly after order and proved to be very easy to assemble. One minor design element that you may like to consider however is how the entrance/exit ramp into the coop attaches to the side. Through our
own clumsiness in moving the coop we managed to break the ramp off the side of the coop. Repairing it was straightforward but this is probably the least robust part of the design. We will shortly be placing our hens in the coop and then testing can begin in earnest. A number of visitors to our house have commented on what an attractive design it is. Overall I am very happy with my purchase of the Sussex coop and would
certainly recommend it.

I was very impressed with the prompt service, ordered 5pm, arrived 2 days later and kept informed by e-mail of delivery which was great. Put together yesterday morning (Saturday) and the "girls" arrived in the afternoon! "They love it" It was actually smaller than I thought it would be, but fine for 4 hens.We laid out all bits as per 1st page of instructions (and amazingly all pieces were present and correct!!). Easy instructions for putting together and you end up with a good solid coop and run-well finished and looks amazing. Got to purchase some electric netting in order for them to have more outside space that is safe (we have a lot of foxes around), however, they have been out in the garden much to the surprise of the dog and cat!! Thanks for a very efficient service.

We have purchased the Chicken Coop for my husbands 50th Birthday which is in 2 weeks time so I will let you know the fun we are having after that.In terms of service I was amazed at how quickly you delivered the item, next day, which to say I didn't place the order until late afternoon I think is exceptional service. Thank you.The reason I choose the Sussex to some of the others was the pitched roof, British weather as it is means lots of rain, so with it being pitched rather than flat roofed I think this coop will stand the test of time better and its only marginally more expensive. I selected the Sussex Coop from yourselves based on design and cost. It seemed to have all the features I wanted at the best price, so was good value for money. The particular features I was looking for:
The slide out tray in the main roosting area to make sure you can clean properly. Separate nesting boxes.
Window, to let the morning light in. Enclosed run. Easy access. Internal space, enough for the four hens I was buying. I was told to look out for these features by the man I was buying the chickens from so was very pleased to find them all at such a reasonable price.Buying the Coop from your website was a quick, easy operation and delivery was quick also. Inside the two boxes all the correct parts were in excellent condition and the materials are of good quality. Once assembled the coop seems pretty solid. It has stood up to some heavy rain without a leak and withstood 60mph winds intact.Overall an excellent product, the only thing that needs to be improved is the assembly instructions which really need more steps and more detailed drawings..

Really pleased with the coop have assembled it looks great - well finished, no chickens as yet decided to wait until the spring, very easy to assemble all holes pre-drilled. As for dealing with yourselves I found the experience very easy and pleasant even when I had problems with delivery (due to me not being available) you were very quick to help me sort them. Just to let you know my Sussex chicken coop arrived this morning. As a complete novice at chicken keeping I am so pleased to have made this first step. Though it did take longer to assemble than you said I am thrilled to bits with the result and just the right size for a beginner. Thankyou so much for the prompt delivery.
