Are your chicken coops fox proof?
We have done our best to ensure your coop is as secure as possible however foxes are notoriously 'wily' creatures and if you do have a fox problem in your area you will still need to be vigilant and cautious. Your chickens should be safely locked away from dusk to dawn and your run must be secure during the day. Foxes will often try and dig underneath your run fencing to get in and many people place some type of deterrent here by digging down into the soil and placing rubble/bricks or timber here or even pavers or similar around the perimeter. For a persistent problem electric fencing kits are really successful although quite costly.
