What happens if I'm not at home to take delivery?

 

Like most online companies we use a 3rd party courier company. You don't need to be in to receive your order however there are a few things you can do for things to run smoothly.

We will always ask the companies we use to leave your order in a safe location should you not be in when they attempt delivery (and assuming if it is safe to do so).

You are welcome to contact us with a safe location and we will add these onto the delivery labels for the driver. Just make sure you do so before we dispatch your order as after it has been collected it becomes a bit difficult to do so.

Please also not that even when we pass on your instructions of a safe place to the courier company sometimes the driver themelves will not leave your items unless there is a note on the door asking them to do so as they can be held personally liable for the parcels.

So if you are not going to be in or you have to go out for a short while then please leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave the parcels. Something as simple as

We are aware that you may not want to leave a note on your door for security reasons. Over the last 9 years we have sent an estimated 50 000 boxes with a large proportion (40 to 50%) left as instructed. We have never had one "go missing".

Having said that if you are not going to be in and don't want to leave a small note for the the driver this is perfectly fine.

Please just let us know before we dispatch your order so we can arrange a day that you or someone will be in to accept delivery.
