Where can we deliver to?

Orders can be delivered anywhere in mainland England, Wales, and most areas in the lowlands of Scotland. If you live outside these areas we then, unfortunately, cannot deliver our products to you. This includes the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland (IM, GY, JE, BT)

Like most online companies we rely on (3rd party) courier companies to deliver all our orders around the country. As much as we would love to get our products in the hands of as many people as possible the cost of getting our coops to anyone who lives outside mainland England and Wales is prohibitive - sometimes more than the actual cost of the product!

Delivery to Scotland

We can deliver to most lowland areas in Scotland. These include the following postcodes: DD1-7 , DG , EH , FK1-6 , G , KA1-26 , KA29-30 , KY , ML , PA1-19 , PH1-2, TD

If you live outside these areas then unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery due to the high extra charges levied by the courier companies we use. You are welcome to arrange your own courier to collect from us, or we can deliver the items to a courier up north for onward journey to you.

Delivery to the Isle of Wight

The courier company that we use can deliver to the Isle of Wight. However, there is a delivery surcharge of £70 per order.

*This is an estimate based on the majority of orders sent, however, we cannot absolutely guarantee it.

What tools do I need to put this run together?

We recommend a pair of wire cutters for cutting the chicken wire and an adjustable spanner for tightening bolts. A hand-held drill and a suitable metal drill bit are needed if you intend to secure the extra screws that are provided.

Is the run fox-proof?

If the run is set up correctly and care is taken to double up on the zip ties that hold the chicken wire in place, especially on the lower areas, then a fox will have a really hard time trying to get in.

We would recommend that you leave a bit of excess wire at ground level to create a small wire skirt around the perimeter and for extra security.

Wire skirting to prevent foxes

Burying rubble or laying pavers around the perimeter to prevent a fox from digging in is also recommended if you wish to make the run totally fox-proof.

If you are worried about foxes and other predators then also adding a small lockable chain and keeping the door to the run locked at all times when not in use is also recommended.

Is the large white cover included with my purchase?

Yes. We are currently running a special offer where the cover is included with your order. If you wish to cover the entire top of your run then 2 covers are recommended.

Please note, that during bouts of high winds, the cover must be completely removed to prevent possible damage to it and the run.

Can I purchase another cover?

We do keep extra stock of the walk-in run cover. Click the link to order an extra walk-in run cover.

How do you fit the cover?

The cover is supplied with special stretchy connectors and these are passed through the eyelets and around the metal framework.

Can the run be easily moved?

Yes. You will need someone to help you but it is possible to move the walk-in run if done with caution.

What is the height of the run before it starts to curve?

The measurement is around 115cm from the lower pole to where it starts to curve. From ground level, this is just under 120cm.

How big is the gap between the ground and the bottom pole?

Just under 3cm assuming the ground is level.
